ECHO launched a pilot initiative in 2014 aimed at rehabilitating children, which led to the establishment of the Yuva Seva Educational Trust- Hotel Management Learning Center. Initially offering a one-year Diploma Program affiliated with ROC Mondriaan, The Hague, Netherlands, it later expanded its affiliation to Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS) for vocational graduation programs. The students undergo comprehensive training in collaboration with industry partners and receive certifications from the hospitality sector. This initiative gained recognition from the Government of Karnataka and Hon’ble Supreme Court Justice, Shri. Madan. B. Lokur during his visit to ECHO Special Home. Acknowledging its effectiveness, the Governments of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Assam have begun enrolling state-home children in the Hotel Management course. To date, the Yuva Seva Educational Trust has trained 40 students from Uttar Pradesh, 65 from Bihar, and 80 from Nepal Earthquake rehabilitation programs, in addition to numerous other organizations nationwide such as SOS Childrens Village, Childrens Home, Crystal House, and Fr. Agnelo Society, Maharashtra.
