ECHO Center for Juvenile Justice marked a significant milestone with the successful completion of a YUVA KREEDA 2024 – Volleyball Tournament, held as part of its 25th Silver Jubilee Celebration. This much-anticipated event, organized for children from various CCI Centers, took place on 21st September 2024 and showcased an incredible display of talent, sportsmanship and teamwork. The tournament was inaugurated by Sri. Chandankumar, ACP Kamakshipalya, who officially declared the tournament open. Special guest, Adv. Chandrakant, Lawyer, High Court of Karnataka and Adv. Dr. Antony Sebastion, Founder Director of ECHO, graced the occasion at the Valedictory ceremony, congratulating the children for their outstanding participation.
Team Anjali School emerged as the champions, showcasing exceptional skill and teamwork to secure the top position, while Aryan School followed closely, claiming second place. A highlight of the day was the outstanding performance of the Special Home team of Children in Conflict with Law (CCL), who delivered a remarkable journey to the Semi-Finals, united shoulder to shoulder with the champions and runners-up. Their participation was one of the most anticipated moments of the tournament.
All the ten participating teams were awarded certificates in recognition of their commendable efforts. The tournament was a vibrant celebration of athleticism, with young players from various CCI centers competing with passion and energy. The atmosphere was electric, filled with cheers from spectators, making it a day to remember. As ECHO celebrates 25 years of service, the event provided an inspiring platform for children to showcase their talents, teamwork, confidence and a spirit of empowerment.
