Are one of the exclusive programmes of ECHO. This programme is conducted for children who are reintegrated in to society and families. In 2014, ECHO organized two separated programmes for the reintegrated children from our Special Home, transitional homes and children who have been a part of our services. Around 500 children who were rehabilitated from the special home and other ECHO centers participated in this programme.
Parents, social workers (NGOs), SJPU Police Personnel from the East and NorthEast police stations, Superintendent of Government Juvenile Home for Boys were also a part of this programme.
The central objective of the follow up programme is to maintain zero recidivism in all areas. Through this programme, we realized that the ECHO Special Home is maintaining a 100% zero recidivism and has effectively rehabilitated children into society. Continuous follow up programmes help ECHO to develop a constant relationship with the children and their families.
