The Inauguration of the Skill Development Training Center aims :
- To provide inmates with advanced skills and training to enhance their employability and self-sufficiency.
- To create a supportive environment that fosters rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
- To equip inmates with skills for income generation and economic contribution upon reintegration.

Program Proceedings :
The inauguration of the Skill Development Training Center was led by Hon’ble Justice Smt. M. G. Uma, Archbishop His Grace. Rev. Dr. Peter Machado and Mr. Gopinath Majumdar Raghavendra, Vice President at BOSCH BGSW. The inaugural program featured inspiring speeches from dignitaries highlighting the growth of ECHO Special Home and its support extended to other Special Homes across the country. In her address, Chief Guest Hon’ble Justice Smt. M. G. Uma said, “My heartfelt congratulations to everyone who was a part of this remodeling: from BOSCH to UNICEF, and from KSLSA to ECHO for their generous support in creating a special environment in the Special Home. After seeing the documentary of the Special Home, I am enthralled by the power of rehabilitation to transform the lives of these inmates, giving them a second chance.”
The advanced technologies and equipment provided by BOSCH BGSW and ECHO Center, under the leadership of Adv. Dr. Antony Sebastion, were recognized for their vital contributions in transforming the lives of inmates through vocational training and recreational activities. Following the formal inaugural program, the inmates actively participated in cultural performances, showcasing vibrant energy. This inaugural program of the skill development training center underscored the importance of learning, with a focus on income generation and marketing abilities. A total of 117 participants attended the inaugural program at the Remodelled ECHO Special Home at Summanahalli.
