ECHO – Adhar, in collaboration with the Panchayat of Candolim, proudly launched the Traffic Police Assistance Programme (TPAP) on 1st October 2025. The initiative aims to support the traffic police in managing smooth and efficient traffic flow across the region. The event was graced by Mr. Micheal Lobo, MLA of Calangute Constituency, and Shri. Brandan D’Souza, Police Inspector of Calangute, who served as the Chief Guest for the day.
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome and introduction by Fr. Joseph Thomas from ECHO, Bengaluru, followed by an inspiring address from Shri. Brandan. The highlight of the event was the swearing-in ceremony, during which the newly appointed TPAP candidates received their caps from Mr. Micheal Lobo, symbolizing their commitment to public service. In his address, Mr. Lobo expressed his appreciation for ECHO’s proactive initiative, emphasizing the importance of such collaborations in ensuring safer and better-managed roads in the community. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Jessica Pereira from ECHO – Adhar Goa, for the valuable support and encouragement.
