ECHO Balagrama

Children from ECHO Balagrama Transitional Home move to our Rehabilitation Home after completing their transitional phase. Each child receives individual counseling and a case study. ECHO analyzes the future paths of these children keeping in mind, the best interest of the child.

Empowering Through Education

ECHO Balagrama partnered with the National Child Labour Project (NCLP) to provide basic education for 50 children rescued from hazardous working conditions. This initiative marks a crucial step toward breaking the cycle of child labor, ensuring every child has access to regular schooling, safety, and opportunity.

The Rehabilitation Home at Summanahalli was established in the year 2004.

Younger children are enrolled in nearby schools, while older children are supported to complete their matriculation through the Karnataka Open School (KOS). Alongside academics, our vocational programs—from tailoring and computer courses to ITI and the Traffic Police Assistant Programme (TPAP)—equip them with skills that lead to sustainable employment and dignity.
